Oriented on making people closer

The delegation is on a working visit to Japan from October 2 to 8, 2025.

The main goal of the visit is to learn about advanced scientific achievements and best global practices in the critically important fields of water purification, wastewater treatment, and desalination systems.

The visit was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the university and the Japanese company Tohkemy Corporation. This corporation is known as one of the world’s leading producers of high-tech equipment and research innovations for the water sector.

During meetings with Japanese experts, representatives of the Turkmen university focused on strengthening cooperation and developing a concrete plan of joint action.

Special attention was paid to the potential for joint efforts in implementing mobile desalination units and modern wastewater treatment systems in Turkmenistan.

This working visit marks an important step in expanding the university’s international cooperation. Adopting the advanced experience and innovative technologies of Tohkemy Corporation will open new opportunities to integrate the best global practices into the educational process. This will significantly enhance the training of young Turkmen engineers capable of addressing the current challenges of the national water sector.
