On November 15, a concert dedicated to the 340th anniversary of the world-renowned German composer Johann Sebastian Bach was held in the Grand Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva.
During the concert, Bach’s compositions were performed, as well as arias and songs written to his music.
The pieces performed during the event left a particularly pleasant impression on the audience.
“The philosophy of the Universe lives within Bach’s music: it is deep yet understandable; perfect yet alive; strict yet gentle; eternal yet forever fresh! In Bach’s music, humanity always finds a companion — each of his notes reveals an unchanging truth to a person and serves as a sacred sanctuary,” says Svetlana Kim, senior lecturer of the Chamber Ensemble Department of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, who played an active role in organizing the concert.
