Ahead of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Balkan Velayat hosted a representative delegation from neighboring Mangystau Region. The cultural exchange was highlighted by a vibrant music festival, "Turkmenistan – Land of Friendship and Brotherhood," which highlighted the deep historical roots and contemporary dynamics of bilateral relations.
The Kazakh delegation, which included high-ranking officials, cultural figures, renowned singers, and dance troupes, was warmly welcomed in front of the Balkan Drama Theater. The guests were greeted with traditional bread and music, symbolizing the hospitality of the Turkmen people. Ceremony participants eagerly explored an exhibition dedicated to the development of fraternal ties.
Speakers at the opening ceremony emphasized the unbreakable friendship between the Turkmen and Kazakh peoples, noting that this cultural event is of particular significance in the context of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
