
During the first nine months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 to December 21, 2025), Iran’s exports of non-oil products to Turkmenistan increased by 22.5 percent in value terms and by 3 percent in weight compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year (from March 21 to December 20, 2024).
According to Trend, citing statistics from the Iranian Customs Administration, during the indicated nine-month period the volume of Iran’s non-oil exports to Turkmenistan amounted to about $495 million and 1.18 million tons.
In the same period of the previous Iranian year, this figure stood at $404 million and 1.15 million tons.
The export structure includes agricultural and food products, industrial goods, transformers, water-cooled air conditioners, petrochemical products, and other goods.
In addition, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year, the trade turnover between Iran and Turkmenistan totaled about $504 million and approximately 1.19 million tons, which represents an increase of 19.9 percent in value and 2.2 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
It is also noted that during the first nine months of the current Iranian year, Iran’s total exports reached $41.2 billion and about 119 million tons.
