About the position
The company is looking for a specialist ready for active fieldwork, including direct interaction with suppliers, site visits, product evaluation, and face-to-face negotiations.
Key responsibilities
• searching for and attracting new suppliers and manufacturers;
• purchasing goods under agreed terms;
• assessing product quality directly at suppliers’ facilities;
• conducting negotiations and agreeing on commercial terms;
• planning and accompanying procurement trips;
• monitoring deadlines and fulfillment of agreements;
• interacting with the company’s internal departments;
• promptly resolving issues arising during procurement and sales processes.
Candidate requirements
• fluency in Turkmen and Russian;
• experience in procurement, logistics, agriculture, or related fields will be an advantage;
• strong negotiation skills and ability to build partnership relations;
• ability to assess products and make on-the-spot decisions;
• willingness to work in a travel-intensive format;
• responsibility, organizational skills, and independence;
• possession of a valid driver’s license and confident driving experience.
