The focus is on the creation of a medical cluster, a new park, the implementation of digital systems in residential buildings, and preparations for the "Night of Omnipotence," a sacred Muslim holiday.
On Saturday, March 7, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty (People's Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the city of Arkadag to review the progress of the second phase of construction. The visit included an inspection of industrial and social facilities under construction, as well as a working meeting with the leadership of relevant agencies.
Particular attention was paid to the industrial zone and medical cluster during the visit. Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Construction Committee for the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, presented designs for administrative buildings and industrial complexes. The National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized that the interiors of medical facilities must strictly comply with international standards, depending on the type of institution.
The head of the Khalk Maslakhaty ordered the accelerated implementation of modern IT systems in office spaces and luxury residential buildings.
During an inspection of the city park under construction, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made adjustments to the design of the sculptures. For example, the "Camel Caravan" sculpture is intended to reflect Turkmenistan's historical role on the Great Silk Road. It was proposed to actively involve students from the Aba Annaev International Horse Breeding Academy in the park's design and promotion of the Akhal-Teke heritage. The park project is seen as a key element in maintaining the ecological balance of the "smart city."
During the meeting, Arkadag Mayor Gulshat Mammedova reported on the schedule for residents to move into the new first-stage buildings. Preparations for the 5th anniversary of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care were also discussed.
In the context of the holy month of Oraza, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed holding a charity dinner (sadaqa-agzachar) on the eve of the "Night of Omnipotence" (Gadyr gijesi), which this year falls on the night of March 15-16. Elders, religious leaders, and youth from all regions of the country will participate in the event.
