The celebration of International Women's Day in Turkmenistan included honoring mothers of large families, housewarming parties, the presentation of presidential gifts, concerts, and other celebratory events.

In the city of Arkadag, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty visited the headquarters of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, where he delivered a congratulatory speech to the women of Turkmenistan.

In his speech, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that respect for women in Turkmen society is elevated to the level of sanctity. He recalled the profound significance of the concept of "Ene toprak" (Mother Earth), drawing a parallel between the sanctity of motherhood and devotion to the Motherland. Particular emphasis was placed on state support. Every year on March 8, mothers of large families are awarded the honorary title of "Ene mähri," and large families receive keys to new apartments in luxury buildings.

A key part of the trip was a visit to the Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center, where a touching ceremony took place: the girls undergoing treatment there were presented with holiday gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader. Children's musical performances added to the atmosphere of a sincere family celebration.
