Turkmenistan is experiencing a steady increase in gasoline production. In January–February 2026, the country fulfilled its gasoline production plan by 122.7%, demonstrating the high level of organization in the oil refining industry and the targeted development of related production capacities.
This production growth is driven by the efficient operation of oil refineries, as well as a natural gas gasoline plant in the Akhal region. The successful operation of these plants was based on exceeding oil and gas production plans, which allowed for a steady increase in refining and fuel production.
According to the Turkmennebit State Concern, in the first two months of this year, the oil production plan was fulfilled by 107.3%, oil refining at refineries by 107.1%, diesel fuel production by 106.4%, lubricant production by 102.7%, liquefied gas by 119.7%, and natural and associated gas production by 106.7%.
These indicators reflect the industry's systematic efforts aimed at ensuring the country's fuel security, improving enterprise efficiency, and expanding export potential to global markets.
