Apple strengthened its position in the global smartphone market in the fourth quarter of 2025. The brand's devices occupied five of the top ten best-selling models worldwide.
The top three spots in the ranking were occupied by the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the base iPhone 17, and the compact iPhone 17 Pro. The top 10 also included previous-generation devices—the iPhone 16 (4th place) and iPhone 16e (8th place). However, the iPhone Air did not make the top ten.
Samsung took four spots thanks to its Galaxy A and Galaxy S series devices, including the Galaxy A56 (5th place), Galaxy A36 (6th place), Galaxy A07 (7th place), and Galaxy S25 (10th place).
Ninth place went to Xiaomi's budget-friendly Redmi A5 smartphone.
According to analysts, the ten most popular models accounted for approximately 23% of global smartphone shipments during the reporting period. The iPhone 17 Pro Max accounted for approximately 5% of the global market.
Throughout 2025, Apple demonstrated consistent growth, regularly occupying the top spots in the rankings. The iPhone 16 became the company's only model to appear in the top 10 for every quarter of the year.
