From May 31 to June 3, 2026, Antalya will host the international Sports & Events Türkiye forum for the first time. The event will bring together leaders of the sports industry and organizers of major global events on the Turkish Riviera, further strengthening the region’s status as a leading hub for sports tourism.

Organized under the auspices of Türkiye’s Ministries of Tourism and Sports, the forum will gather more than 300 international participants and dozens of local service providers. The program includes over 1,000 B2B meetings. Its main goal is to establish connections between Turkish companies and key partners from Eurasia and the Middle East for organizing tournaments, training camps, and corporate travel programs.

Why Antalya?
The choice of venue is driven by the region’s unique infrastructure, including a mild climate with around 300 sunny days suitable for year-round training, a wide range of sports facilities from Belek’s golf courses to world-class football centers, and successful experience in hosting major international events such as the Tour of Antalya and Runtalya.

The global sports events market is growing rapidly and is projected to reach $609 billion by 2031. Türkiye is actively integrating into this process by offering not only beach tourism but also high-tech venues for professional sports. The forum in Antalya will become a key platform for showcasing these opportunities to the international community.
