The 13th international "Turiada" sports and tourism camp opened in the Saratov Region on May 19, bringing together over 500 participants from regions of the Volga Federal District of Russia and several countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The international delegation included the Turkmenistan youth team, represented by students and young sports tourism activists.
The program of this large-scale gathering, traditionally held at the Khvalynsky ski resort, includes sports competitions on foot, water, and cycling courses, as well as an extensive cultural and educational program.

The Turkmen participants are participating in competitions for the best tourist route, presentations of national cultural traditions, and expert sessions dedicated to the development of the cross-border hospitality industry.
The organizers emphasize that the involvement of foreign delegations in the Turiada program facilitates the formation of strong professional contacts between future tourism industry specialists and creates an effective platform for promoting joint youth and humanitarian projects in the CIS.
