Chinese Technologies Will Enhance Pipeline Corrosion Protection in Turkmenistan
The Chinese engineering company Sichuan Petroleum & Natural Gas Construction Engineering has commissioned specialized materials from Langfang Zhongyou Jiayu Anti-Corrosion Technology for a major pipeline project in Turkmenistan. The shipment includes 2,000 polyethylene heat-shrinkable sleeves and 3,000 meters of specialized anti-corrosion tape, designed to insulate and protect pipe joints.
The use of high-tech insulation materials is required to meet the stringent technical requirements for the operation of the Turkmen gas transportation system. The region's unique climatic conditions, including high temperature ranges and soil conditions, require technological solutions capable of ensuring the durability and reliability of main gas pipelines for transporting hydrocarbons.
