President of Turkmenistan Signs Decree Rescheduling Days Off for 35th Independence Anniversary

Residents of Turkmenistan will have additional opportunities to enjoy their time off and celebrate the country's 35th independence anniversary. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree to this effect.

In accordance with the document and the Labor Code of Turkmenistan, September 28 (Monday) has been declared a non-working day.

The day off originally scheduled for September 27 (Sunday) is being moved to September 29 (Tuesday).

Consequently, for those on a five-day workweek, this results in four consecutive days off—from September 26 through September 29, inclusive. All institutions, enterprises, and organizations in the country, regardless of their form of ownership, are required to implement the provisions of the decree.
