"Turkmenstandartlary" participates in a seminar for experts from metrological institutes of Central Asian countries
Experts from the State Reference Center of the Main State Service “Turkmenstandartlary” will take part in the training seminar “Cooperation between national metrological institutes and regional centers” in the Uzbek city of Fergana on October 10-13.
The meeting of international experts will be held within the framework of the project of the Physical-Technical Institute of Germany (PTB) “Support and improvement of quality infrastructure in the countries of Central Asia.” Representatives of quality infrastructure and metrology institutes of Central Asian countries will participate in the forum.
Specialists will consider technical issues in metrology, distribution and transfer of artifacts - exemplary measuring instruments participating in previously organized and ongoing interlaboratory comparisons in the field of glass thermometers, electronic multimeters and pH measurements.
Metrologists will visit the calibration laboratories of the Fergana branch of the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology and get acquainted with the programs of Uzbek specialists. It is also planned to discuss the organization of future regional events within the framework of the project.
