Novak spoke about the idea of Iran to create a gas hub with the participation of Turkmenistan, Russia and Qatar

It is necessary to evaluate and study Iran's proposal to create a gas center with the participation of Turkmenistan, Russia and Qatar, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview with RT Arabik, answering a question about Iran's proposal to create such a hub.
"I think that our company Gazprom will study this issue. If this is really a real and potentially good project, then, of course, Russia will also participate in it. But we need to evaluate and study it," Novak said.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister also said that Turkish partners are currently considering a roadmap prepared by Gazprom for the project of creating a gas hub in Turkey.
This week, Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller held meetings with the Iranian Oil Minister, Chairman of the NIOC Board of Directors Javad Oudji and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
The meetings took place on the sidelines of the international forum "Russian Energy Week – 2023", which was held from October 11 to 13 in Moscow.
