On September 20, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened an exhibition dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and designed to demonstrate the country's achievements in the socio-economic sphere.
The stands at the show were presented by ministries and departments, state enterprises and agencies, public organizations, universities, as well as dozens of individual enterprises and business societies.
The attention of numerous guests of the exhibition was primarily attracted by the exposition dedicated to the development of communications and information technology in Turkmenistan.
The capabilities of a single digital platform were presented at the stand of the agency "Turkmensvyaz" e.gov.tm , which provides access to various government services and functions via the Internet. From the information materials, the visitors of the show could learn about the achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of digital economy and innovation development, as well as about cooperation with international partners in this field.
The postal communication company "Turkmenpost" was presented in introductory videos dedicated to its multifunctional application Çapar. Today, it has become an indispensable assistant for many residents of the country, allowing them to instantly make payments for many types of services, as well as use the capabilities of the Turkmenpost courier service.
Achievements in the field of development of the sphere of maritime transport, port infrastructure and maritime security in Turkmenistan were demonstrated at the stand of the agency "Turkmendenizderyaellary". The participants of the exhibition, including representatives of domestic and foreign companies, got acquainted with the activities of JSC "Merchant Marine", the Balkan Shipbuilding and ship repair plant, as well as the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, which make a significant contribution to the realization of the country's transport and transit potential.
The stand of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan was also a success with the public, where the fruits of the development of the domestic electronic industry were presented — computers, laptops and other high-tech equipment produced by the Agzybirlik Tilsimaty joint venture.
The competitiveness of domestic technology primarily proves its prevalence in the market. Thus, cash registers and other trade automation tools from Agzybirlik Tilsimaty are installed today in the vast majority of stores and service centers in the country.
