Results of the First Half of the Year - Sustainable Growth and Progressive Development

During an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov summed up the results of the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for the first half of 2025. The announced indicators confirm the preservation of sustainable growth dynamics and the implementation of national priorities against the backdrop of preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of neutrality.

The head of state emphasized that in January-June of this year, the country achieved high results in all key sectors. Strategic management of the economy made it possible to ensure a balance between macroeconomic stability and the necessary modernization measures.

A landmark decision in the context of the anniversary date was the signing of the Law of Turkmenistan "On the establishment of the jubilee medal "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 yyllygyna"". This is not only a symbol of recognition of the country's achievements, but also an emphasis on the role of neutrality as the foundation of sustainable development.

Systematic work to improve the legislative framework continued during the reporting period: the Mejlis adopted 13 new laws and made changes and additions to a number of existing regulations, which indicates the progressive development of the legal field.

Economic indicators confirm the effectiveness of the steps taken. The growth rate of the gross domestic product was 6.3%, which reflects the continuation of a stable economic trend.

The volume of developed capital investments reached 17 billion 829 million manats - an increase of 15% compared to the same period of the last year. This indicates high investment activity, especially in strategically important areas.

Housing and infrastructure projects continue to be implemented throughout the country: 269.7 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in six months. Along with this, production capacities and social facilities are developing dynamically.

Measures to diversify the economy and digital transformation deserve special attention. Modern enterprises are being created, export opportunities are increasing, employment is being ensured, and the country's financial stability is being strengthened.

Consequently, the results of the first half of the year confirm that the vector set by the national programs and the sustainable development strategy is being consistently implemented, reflecting Turkmenistan's commitment to a course of socially oriented, innovative and balanced economic development.
