On April 15, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi and the Japanese Nippon Foundation. This information was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

According to the Memorandum, the Turkmen higher education institution and the Nippon Foundation's project, "JACAFA" will jointly select scholarship recipients for educational opportunities.
