To streamline the visa application process for Turkmen applicants, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan will officially launch online visa applications for China (https://consular.mfa.gov.cn/VISA/) starting June 30, 2025. This information was conveyed to Orient by the Embassy.

Applicants wishing to visit China will be able to complete the application form and, significantly, upload all required documents online. This will eliminate time spent waiting in queues, correcting errors, and submitting missing materials. Once the system invites an applicant to submit their application, they will only need to bring the first page of their application form and their passports to the consular section.
