Over the past week, more than one and a half thousand foreign citizens have passed through checkpoints on the border of Turkmenistan. As a result of the relevant work carried out jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and other government agencies, unimpeded travel from the Turkmen-Iranian border crossings to Ashgabat International Airport is ensured.

Among the evacuees are citizens of Central Asian countries, Pakistan, India, Qatar, Bangladesh, the UAE, Indonesia, China, Russia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Korea, Germany, Great Britain and other countries, as well as Iranian citizens who are returning to their homeland after the Hajj.

Further air transportation of passengers coming from Iran is carried out by such airlines as Air China, Inter Global, S7, Oman Air, Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air, Fly Dubai, SCAT Airlines, Pakistan International Airlines, Sky Vision Airlines, Spice Jet, South Wind, JSC "Turkmenistan Airlines" and others, according to the website of the Turkmen air carrier.

Turkmenistan urgently and effectively ensures the unimpeded use of its airspace for foreign airlines.
