Oriented on making people closer

A group of students from the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International Oil and Gas University is currently undertaking a practical training program at the China University of Petroleum in Beijing. The internship, running from June 29 to July 20, aims to familiarize them with advanced practices and technologies in the oil and gas industry.

This internship is organized within the framework of Memorandums of Understanding signed in 2023 between the International Oil and Gas University, the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and the China University of Petroleum (Beijing). The primary goal is to train highly qualified specialists for Turkmenistan's oil and gas complex and to study the international experience of leading specialized universities.

The China University of Petroleum has prepared a special three-week program for the Turkmen students. It includes lectures, tours of laboratories and training centers, and visits to production facilities of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). In addition to professional training, the Turkmen students will participate in short courses on Chinese language and culture, as well as on current energy topics such as "Green Energy and Carbon Reduction," "The Future of Oil and Gas," and "Energy Cooperation on the Silk Road."

Furthermore, a second group of students from the International Oil and Gas University is undergoing summer practical training at the facilities of CNPC's "International Ltd" branch in Turkmenistan during June and July of this year.

Such exchanges of experience contribute to the professional growth of future specialists and strengthen international cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
