 President of Turkmenistan Sends Congratulations on Hungary’s National Holiday

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his congratulations to President of Hungary Tamás Sulyok, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and the people of the country on the occasion of the national holiday – St. Stephen’s Day.

In his message, the head of state conveyed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the leadership of Hungary. Taking this opportunity, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed to President Tamás Sulyok and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán his sincere wishes for good health, happiness, and well-being. The address also included wishes of peace, continued progress, and prosperity to the friendly people of Hungary.

St. Stephen’s Day is celebrated annually in Hungary on August 20 and is one of the country’s main state holidays. It is dedicated to the memory of the first King of Hungary, the founder of the Hungarian state, Stephen I, who was canonized by the Catholic Church.

Turkmenistan and Hungary have maintained diplomatic relations since 1992, cooperating in political, economic, and cultural spheres.
