Central Asian Youth Forum Held at IT&IT
12.09.2025 | 10:00 |On September 10, the Central Asian Regional Youth Forum “Health and Sustainable Development as a Path to Peace” was held at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan (IT&IT) in cooperation with the European Union Program on Drug Prevention in Central Asia (CADAP). The event was organized at the initiative of Turkmenistan in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the country’s Permanent Neutrality.
The two-day forum gathered about 30 representatives from several foreign countries, international and specialized Turkmen organizations, as well as student youth.
The main objectives of the event were:
• Developing leadership and social responsibility among young people.
• Preventing drug addiction.
• Involving youth in the implementation of the sustainable development agenda.
• Creating a regional platform for international cooperation.
During the forum, participants discussed a wide range of important issues, including mental health, environmental awareness, healthy lifestyles, education, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence.
