Independence Day: Festive Events Held in Turkmenistan’s Schools
26.09.2025 | 09:30 |On the eve of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, which has become a symbol of freedom, thematic exhibitions and literary evenings were organized in schools of the Magtymguly district of Balkan region. These events are aimed at improving the work of school libraries and fostering patriotism among the youth.
Various schools presented unique festive programs. For example, in Secondary School No. 1, a literary reading contest titled “My Independent Land – My Homeland” was held, while Secondary School No. 2 hosted a morning event “You Are My Glory in the Golden Autumn, Independence – My Sacred Talisman.” At School No. 8, an exhibition “Melody of Stability and Unity, Independence – the Light of Hearts” was organized, and at School No. 13, a literary evening “Independence – My Happiness” took place.
During the events, performances were presented dedicated to the development and transformation of the Motherland, as well as the large-scale work carried out by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the significance of Independence for the people of Turkmenistan.
Such initiatives highlight that welcoming the main national holiday with new achievements and cultural events has become a good tradition that contributes to strengthening spirit and unity.
