The "Turkmen Corner" opened at the COMET international venue in the Belgian capital

As part of the celebrations marking Turkmenistan's Independence Day, the "Turkmen Corner" was officially opened at the COMET center, one of the Belgian capital's prestigious venues. This project, implemented with the participation of BinyamProject, marks a new step in strengthening cultural diplomacy between Turkmenistan and Europe.

COMET, known as a popular Brussels venue for international forums and presentations, has now expanded its permanent cultural exhibition to coincide with the International Year of Peace and Trust, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly.

A striking feature of the "Turkmen Corner" is a unique work of art—a large map of Turkmenistan composed of fragments of traditional textiles. This panel, created by Turkmen artisans, features symbols and patterns reflecting the rich cultural diversity of the country's regions.

In his speech, Turkmen Ambassador Sapar Palvanov emphasized the profound diplomatic significance of the exhibition: "This mural is not only an artistic project but also a powerful metaphor: the world is made up of diverse elements that, when combined, form a single harmonious whole."

The opening of the "Turkmen Corner" was an important outcome of the Second Central Asian European Creative Forum, emphasizing that the diversity of cultures and traditions, united by the efforts of people, can make a significant contribution to strengthening trust and dialogue between peoples.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the COMET leadership, noting that the new exhibition will allow the European public to become more familiar with Turkmenistan's cultural heritage and will make a significant contribution to the development of mutual understanding and cooperation.
