An open Russian language competition has started in the capital of Turkmenistan, organized by the Department of Education, Science and Culture of the Embassy of Russia in Turkmenistan with the support of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University. Anyone aged 14 and older is eligible to participate.
The competition aims to promote the Russian language, develop literacy, and encourage creative skills.
Participants are offered two sets of tasks:
• 15 test questions on matching, order, and logic;
• a creative task — a mini-essay on any free topic of up to 300 characters.
The competition is held in person, and tasks are provided on-site. Each participant receives a certificate, and winners receive prizes.
The competition runs from November 25 to December 26, 2025. Tasks can be completed daily from 11:00 to 17:00 at the Russian House in Ashgabat, located at 11 Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Avenue.
The names of the winners will be published on January 26, 2026, on the official information resources of the organizers. Prize distribution will begin after the publication of the results.
The competition provides an opportunity to assess one's Russian language proficiency, demonstrate creative abilities, and gain well-deserved recognition.
