Lenovo is preparing to release a new gaming laptop under the Legion brand featuring a unique design. According to Windows Latest, the device, called Legion Pro Rollable, is equipped with a horizontally expanding display. Its main feature is the ability to extend the screen into an ultra-wide format, ideal for gaming and high-performance tasks.
The new model is expected to be unveiled at CES 2026.
Unlike earlier rollable prototypes where the screen expanded vertically, the Legion Pro Rollable extends to the left and right, reaching an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio.
This design offers maximum immersion for gaming. It is known that the laptop will support a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz and will run on an Intel Core Ultra processor under Windows 11.
Technically, this became possible thanks to a motorized spindle system and a flexible POLED panel, previously tested by Lenovo in experimental models. When expanded, the mechanism pushes out hidden sections of the screen from both sides of the chassis, securing it in a wider format.
The Legion Pro Rollable is aimed at users who require maximum screen real estate for professional work and demanding gaming workloads.
