
From February 16 to 18, as part of the Turkmen Cinema Days in the Republic of Turkey, the Turkmen delegation held a series of bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening cultural cooperation and exchanging experiences in cinema, television, and the arts.
On February 16, a delegation led by Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldy Shamuradov met with TURKSOY Secretary General S.Rayev at the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY). During the meeting, issues of expanding cultural cooperation and implementing joint cultural projects were discussed.

On February 17, Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldy Shamuradov met with Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation in film, theater, and music, as well as the possibility of implementing joint educational, cultural, and humanitarian programs.
On February 18, A. Kakayev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography, met with Baris Demirci, Vice-Rector of the Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts, discussing opportunities for academic cooperation, joint master classes, educational programs, and creative exchanges for students and faculty from Turkmenistan.

The meetings contributed to the strengthening of cultural ties between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, the expansion of bilateral cooperation in film, music, television, and the arts, and opened up new opportunities for promoting Turkmen culture internationally.
Furthermore, during their visit to the Republic of Turkey, the Turkmen delegation, led by Minister of Culture A. Shamuradov, laid flowers at the monument to the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, located in the picturesque Turkmenistan Park in the center of Ankara.

During the ceremony, A. Shamuradov emphasized the special role of work of Magtymguly Fragi in the development of world literature and culture and informed those present about events to be held in 2026 under the motto "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses."
