Ambassador of Turkmenistan's to Tokyo Atadurdy Bayramov met with the leadership of the Japan Equestrian Association and the Tokyo Equestrian Center, Ito Hiroshi and Yoshikazu Matsuda.
The participation of Michiko Aoe, a distinguished horse breeder of Turkmenistan and head of the Akhal-Teke Affinity Society, added a special warmth to the meeting. This is a case where personal dedication to a cause grows into an interstate one. Also participating in the meeting were Takuma Miyaji, a member of the Japan-Turkmenistan Interparliamentary Friendship Group and a member of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Diet, and Japanese horse breeders.

During the meeting, the Japanese side learned about the large-scale events being held in the country and abroad during the Year of the "Purposeful Winged Horses," as well as the country's equestrian policy. Specific steps for cooperation in equestrian sports were discussed with Japanese experts.
After the meeting, the participants visited the Akhal-Teke horse monument at the Tokyo Equestrian Center. The presence of such a monument in the center of one of the world's most technologically advanced capitals is the best proof that authentic beauty and tradition remain enduring.
