The Turkmennebit State Concern is embarking on the next phase of upgrading its production fleet. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding resolution during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
The document aims to ensure uninterrupted operations at the country's largest fields. The new equipment will allow the concern to increase the efficiency of exploratory well drilling and accelerate the commissioning of promising fields.
The planned strengthening of the material and technical infrastructure of Turkmenistan's fuel and energy complex in 2026 focuses on several key objectives. These include production intensification: the use of modern technologies will help maintain flow rates at mature fields; deep drilling: upgrading the drilling rig fleet is necessary for developing complex horizons where the main hydrocarbon reserves are concentrated; and timely maintenance: modernizing the fleet of specialized equipment minimizes the risk of downtime during repairs.
The decree signed by the head of state launches a new phase of investment in the oil and gas sector, which is the key to the stable growth of the country's export potential.
