Turkmenistan is expanding the boundaries of academic partnership with the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. In April 2026, higher education institutions of the country will take part in hosting the large-scale International Youth Scientific Forum “Lomonosov–2026.”
The main part of the forum will take place in Moscow from April 10 to April 25. However, thanks to close inter-university cooperation, regional platforms will also be organized in Ashgabat at the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi.
This year the forum program in Turkmenistan has been expanded, with activities organized in four key academic fields:
• Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi: foreign languages, regional studies, translation theory and methodology, and philology.
• Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly: chemical sciences.
Students, postgraduate researchers, and young scientists under the age of 35 are invited to participate. This is an excellent opportunity to present their research, exchange experience with colleagues, and receive evaluation from experts of one of the world’s leading universities. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English, and participation is free of charge.
To participate, applicants must register on the scientific and educational portal “Lomonosov” by April 6, 2026. Following the forum, all participants will receive certificates, while the authors of the best presentations will be awarded honorary diplomas. The development of such initiatives highlights Turkmenistan’s status as a center for training highly qualified specialists of international level.
