The IX International Music Festival “Kharibulbul” is being held at a high level in the city of Shusha, with a delegation from Turkmenistan also taking part. This was announced by Allaverdi Nazarov, head of the Turkmen ensemble “Galkynysh.”

According to him, the group is participating in the festival for the first time, and their stay in Shusha has left the warmest impressions.

“We came to the ‘Kharibulbul’ festival from Turkmenistan together with our ensemble. This is our first participation, and we are very happy to be here. Our impressions are extremely positive: everything is very beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the scenery is magnificent. I would especially like to note the high level of organization — everything is being conducted with great professionalism. Many thanks to the organizers and to all the Azerbaijani people for the warm welcome, hospitality, and friendly attitude,” Nazarov said.

He emphasized that the festival serves as an excellent platform not only for showcasing national art, but also for learning about the cultures of other peoples, strengthening creative ties, and promoting cultural exchange.

It should be noted that on May 14, the opening ceremony of the IX International Music Festival “Kharibulbul” took place at the Jidir Duzu plain in Shusha. The event was organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

Over the course of two days, concerts and cultural events featuring artists from various countries will be held at different venues across the city. The festival aims to promote intercultural dialogue, strengthen musical ties, and expand creative cooperation.
