The digitalization of Turkmenistan’s tourism industry is reaching a new level. The popular TurkmenTourist mobile application, developed by the Syýahatçy travel company, has significantly expanded its functionality. As ORIENT previously reported, the platform became the first domestic service to combine ticket sales for the national carrier Turkmenistan Airlines and the Belarusian airline Belavia within a single interface.

Convenient online payments and integration with Rysgal Bank An important step toward improving the accessibility of the service was the introduction of flexible payment solutions. Belavia flight tickets can now be paid for online directly within the application using international MasterCard cards issued by the joint-stock commercial bank Rysgal.
