A ceremonial event honoring teachers and students who successfully completed prestigious advanced training courses was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
The professional development initiative covered two important areas of the sports sector. The first stage focused on the institute’s academic staff. A group of 22 lecturers successfully completed a large-scale 72-hour online course dedicated to the challenges and prospects of modern elite sports. The educational project was organized by the International Association of Universities together with the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, bringing together more than 270 leading coaches and specialists from Central Asian countries and Russia.
The second significant event was the presentation of certificates to participants of a unique young referees training program. This project was successfully implemented through close cooperation between the Football Federation of Turkmenistan and the sports institute. Around 30 promising students completed intensive theoretical and practical training, mastering the intricacies of professional refereeing in football and futsal.
Such educational initiatives are of tremendous importance for Turkmen sports. They not only strengthen the professional skills of local specialists, but also expand international cooperation, opening new opportunities for the development of the national physical education system and the training of future champions.
