Oriented on making people closer

State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Kenji Yamada and Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Tokyo Atadurdy Bayramov held a meeting on Thursday, discussing bilateral relations in the light of the accumulated experience of interaction and their current stage.

Parliamentary Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs - State Minister Yamada noted such an important and successful aspect of the dialogue as "investment in people", including the creation of conditions for learning Japanese in Turkmenistan. He also singled out decarbonization as a separate area of cooperation, the new level of which is seen in terms of the quality of growth.

Yamada said that Japan is ready to work closely with the countries of Central Asia to diversify transport routes that are important for the region.

The parties also exchanged views on cooperation in the international arena, according to the website of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
