 An international scientific and practical conference was held at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University

Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly hosted an international scientific and practical conference entitled "The Role of Education, Science, and Innovative Technologies in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals". The event, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan and Science Day, took place in a hybrid format using digital technologies.

The conference was attended by professors and teachers from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign universities, as well as scientists, researchers, postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates from scientific institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the International Scientific and Technological Park.

On May 30th, the work of the conference continued in several sections covering a wide range of scientific fields:

• "Development of biochemical and nanotechnologies and their application in industry, environmental protection issues. Modern methods of improving the teaching of natural sciences"

• "Scientific research in the fields of mathematics, physics, and astronomy. Digital education, information systems and computer technologies, cybersecurity, and the introduction of artificial intelligence in the economy"

• "Humanities: modern development of history, sociology, philosophy, psychology, and pedagogy, legal sciences"

• "Problems of philology: methodology of studying and teaching Turkmen and foreign languages, literature"

• "Theory and practice of translation"

During the sectional meetings, professors, scientists, researchers, doctoral candidates, and postgraduate students presented their scientific reports and exchanged views on cultural and humanitarian issues.

The conference was attended by approximately 310 professors, teachers, and scientists from over 80 higher education institutions and research institutes across 16 countries, including the Russian Federation, the Italian Republic, the Republic of Turkey, the People's Republic of China, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Bangladesh, and Turkmenistan.
