TurkmenTextile Expo-2025 in Ashgabat: A Gateway to Innovation, Heritage and Collaboration
11.06.2025 | 15:50 |Adding a vibrant thread to Ashgabat’s dynamic calendar of events, the TurkmenTextile Expo-2025 officially opened its doors today. Organized by the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and TurkmenExpo, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the exhibition runs from June 11 to 13 and is open to all visitors.
The event brings together over 100 exhibitors, representing the full spectrum of the textile industry — from cotton, silk, and wool production to ready-to-wear fashion, eco-friendly dyeing technologies, and cutting-edge designer collections.
Unprecedented International Participation
This year marks a record level of international engagement, with designers, industry leaders, and textile associations from over 25 countries, including Italy, the UK, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Singapore, India, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan, confirming their participation. This expansion reflects Turkmenistan’s growing influence as a regional textile and fashion hub in Central Asia.
The capital is set to host a diverse and forward-thinking audience of textile investors, fashion entrepreneurs, and government delegates. On opening day alone, more than 200 delegates have confirmed their attendance, including presidents of national fashion councils, pioneers in sustainable fabric innovation, and boutique designers promoting upcycling and cultural heritage through textile art.
Business, Culture, and Technology Interwoven
TurkmenTextile Expo-2025 is not just an exhibition, but a strategic platform for business networking, cross-border collaboration, and knowledge exchange. The venue features:
-
National and international company booths
-
Designers’ showrooms
-

-
Dedicated masterclass zones
-
Networking spaces for partnership and investment dialogue
The pre-exhibition day already set the tone with hands-on workshops, studio visits, and informal business meetups that emphasized both creative exchange and commercial opportunity.
