Oriented on making people closer

Today, the State Council of Tatarstan unanimously supported the draft resolution to schedule the elections for the Rais of the Republic for September 14.

The election campaign will commence following the official publication and entry into force of this resolution. The Republic's Central Election Commission will adopt the Calendar Plan for the elections of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan. A 30-day period will be allocated for candidate nominations.

All 65 territorial and 2,780 precinct election commissions will be involved in organizing and conducting the elections for the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan. A total of 2,924,287 voters in Tatarstan are eligible to participate in the elections.
