Meeting held with Kent State University delegation
21.06.2025 | 17:30 |Recently, a meeting took place at the International University for the Humanities and Development with a delegation led by Dr. Marcello Fantoni, Vice President of Kent State University. During the meeting, Dr. Fantoni received comprehensive information regarding the university's history, structure, international collaborations, and scientific endeavors.
The Vice President of Kent State University conveyed his best wishes and expressed gratitude for the warm reception at the university. He emphasized that establishing and fostering mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between the higher education institutions of both countries is a key priority in his work. Dr. Fantoni expressed his readiness to further develop collaboration with the International University for the Humanities and Development in relevant areas and noted that necessary measures would be taken in this direction.
It was highlighted that Kent State University and the International University for the Humanities and Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding last year. This memorandum outlines the implementation of joint research projects, educational programs, student exchanges, and other areas of cooperation.
Following the official segment, the esteemed guests were given a tour of the university, including the UNESCO Club "Peace and Trust – the Basis of Humanism and Development" and the IUHD HUB student center.
