Turkmenistan – a Reliable Humanitarian Bridge: 4,000 People Returned Home Thanks to Ashgabat

Amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Turkmenistan confirms its role as a reliable partner in international humanitarian efforts. The country continues to ensure unimpeded transit of foreign citizens traveling from Iran through specially organized humanitarian corridors.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, to date 52 countries have asked Ashgabat to assist in the return of their citizens to their homeland. Thanks to these coordinated efforts, about 4,000 people have already been able to return home.

This large-scale process is carried out promptly, in close cooperation with diplomatic missions of foreign countries accredited in Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan's ability to quickly respond to such requests and effectively coordinate actions in difficult conditions underscores its commitment to the principles of positive neutrality and its readiness to be a stabilizing factor in the region by providing vital humanitarian channels.

Earlier, we reported that the Ashgabat airport was continuously transporting citizens evacuated from Iran.
