 Turkmenistan's ambassador begins work in Serbia

On July 7, 2025, a ceremony for the presentation of credentials took place at the Palace of the President of Serbia in Belgrade. Mr. Esen Muhammedovich Aydogdyev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Serbia (with residence in Moscow), presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

During the ceremony, Ambassador E.M. Aydogdyev conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the Head of State and the entire Serbian people on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In response, the President of the Republic of Serbia expressed gratitude for the warm wishes. He congratulated the Turkmen diplomat on his high-level appointment, wished him success in his work, and voiced confidence that the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Serbia would continue, serving the interests of both countries.

The meeting also addressed issues concerning the strengthening of bilateral relations, including the expansion of political, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two nations.
