Telephone Conversation Between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan

Today, a telephone conversation took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and his Kyrgyz counterpart Jeenbek Kulubayev. The heads of the foreign ministries focused on key aspects of multilateral cooperation, and also exchanged views on the most pressing issues of regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
The central place in the conversation was the preparation for the upcoming Third Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), which will be held from August 5 to 8, 2025 in Avaza, Turkmenistan. The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic plans to participate in this important forum, according to the press release of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.
The ministers especially emphasized the importance of the successful holding of the event, noting its key role in promoting the interests of the LLDC countries, strengthening regional cooperation and promoting sustainable development. At the end of the conversation, the heads of the Foreign Ministries confirmed their firm commitment to further deepening Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international organizations.
