Exemplary Library Work Developing at Secondary School No. 21 in Mary
14.09.2025 | 12:30 |At Secondary School No. 21 in the city of Mary, exemplary activities are being carried out to foster a love of books among the younger generation. The school librarian, Tyllia Annaberdieva, makes significant efforts in organizing library work, as evidenced by regular readers’ conferences, literary reading competitions, and book exhibitions.
A vivid example of this work was the book exhibition organized on September 1, Knowledge Day, at the main entrance of the school. The exhibition featured books written by the National Leader of Turkmen people and the Esteemed Prezident, literary works for children, and new textbooks. The event attracted great interest from teachers, students, and guests of the celebration, clearly demonstrating the key role of libraries in promoting interest in reading.
Such events are part of the large-scale reforms in the education system being carried out under the leadership of the Esteemed President. In January 2025, the State Program for the Development of the Library System in Turkmenistan for 2025–2029 was approved, and the work of School No. 21 serves as a fine example of its successful implementation.
