Oriented on making people closer

On October 9, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan (IIR MFA) reached an important milestone in its academic development. The university was included in the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026 with the official status of “reporter.”

This recognition reflects the institute’s strong commitment to meeting international standards of higher education assessment and demonstrates its dedication to global academic cooperation.

The Times Higher Education (THE) ranking is one of the leading global indicators, providing a comprehensive evaluation of universities based on five key areas:
