The Turkmenistan pavilion at the international tourism fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (November 27–29) in Tashkent became one of the most visited and prominent showcases of the event. Throughout all exhibition days, the pavilion welcomed large crowds: guests from various countries showed genuine interest in Turkmenistan’s rich history, unique culture, distinctive traditions, and breathtaking natural landscapes.
Many visitors noted that they had long dreamed of visiting the country, and discovering the stand inspired them to add Turkmenistan to their future travel plans. Special attention was drawn to tourism routes, cultural tours, and natural attractions — from ancient cities of the Great Silk Road to unique natural sites.

The exhibition served not only as a vibrant cultural event but also as an effective business platform. Turkmen tourism agencies held numerous productive meetings with international companies. As a result, several dozen preliminary cooperation agreements were reached, including arrangements for international companies to participate in upcoming exhibitions in Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan’s participation in the business session held within the exhibition also deserves special mention. The session highlighted the country’s tourism potential, opportunities for inbound tourism, and prospects for the development of exhibition tourism.

The atmosphere of the exhibition was festive and inspiring. Performers from different nations took the stage, creating a spirit of cultural unity. A real sensation was the dancing robot, which attracted huge crowds and became a symbol of the fusion of innovation and tradition.
In addition, the event featured captivating competitions among chefs from around the world, where participants showcased their skills by presenting dishes of national cuisines.

Turkmenistan’s presence at this international event became a significant step in strengthening the country’s image on the global stage, promoting its tourism potential, and expanding international partnerships.
