The Turkmennebit State Concern continues the systematic upgrade of its equipment fleet. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding decree, aimed at strengthening the material and technical base of the flagship oil and gas industry in the country, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, February 20.
Equipment modernization is a top priority in Turkmenistan's strategic plans for the development of the fuel and energy sector. Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov's report at the government meeting demonstrated that modern production requires not just hardware, but innovative solutions capable of ensuring uninterrupted operation under any conditions.
The signed document officially gives the green light for the purchase of advanced machinery and equipment necessary for the development of new fields and increasing the yield of existing ones.
For Turkmennebit, this means increased reliability and risk mitigation at production and technological facilities. The use of the latest generation equipment for deep drilling and production intensification; and the synchronization of all links in the production chain.
The era of "smart technologies" is coming to Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector. Upgrading the equipment base is the foundation upon which the ambitious 2026 targets of increasing hydrocarbon exports and advanced processing are built.
