 A TNC student became a laureate of the 1st degree at the International Gliere Autumn Competition

Reingold Moritsevich Gliere is a famous musician, Russian and Soviet composer, conductor, teacher, musical and public figure, who had a great influence on the formation of the professional composition school of Turkmenistan. So in 1935-1936 he was in Ashgabat and listened to young musicians here. On his recommendation, the most gifted of them, future composers and musicians: Ashir Kuliev, Veli Mukhadov, Khydyr Allanurov, Annagul Annakulieva, Maya Kulieva and others, were sent to study at the Turkmen department at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and received professional education.

Since 2017, a competition for young performers based on video recordings, “Gliere’s Autumn,” has been held annually in Moscow in honor of the composer. This year the competition of the VII International Music Competition named after R.M. Gliere was held from November 15 to December 1.

Dovletov Annaoraz, a fifth-year student of the Department of String Instruments of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after May Kuliyeva, participating in the age category of 20-25 years in the cello specialty, became a first-degree laureate. The contestant’s program included “Poem” by Nury Halmamedov and Hungarian Rhapsody for cello and piano by David Popper.

His teacher Yusupgeldy Gandymov and accompanist Dzhennet Khudaikulieva were also awarded certificates from the International Competition for the successful preparation of the student.

Dovletov Annaoraz is a graduate of the secondary special music boarding school at TNC, where he studied in the class of the wonderful teacher Dzhemal Muhammedova.

As a student, Dovletov Annaoraz plays in the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra and the Takhir Atayev Orchestra at TNC, as well as as part of the State Symphony Orchestra, and also performs solo concerts at the conservatory.
