Oriented on making people closer

The All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts is actively developing projects in the field of design diplomacy and begins cooperation with the association “Business Center for Economic Development of the CIS”.

In this direction, the Museum is launching a satellite project of the IV All-Russian competition-biennale of object design “Invented and Made in Russia” - “Commonwealth Design”.

Designers and brands from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to take part in the special project “Commonwealth Design” and the business program of the Competition, the CIS Internet portal reports.

Main goals of the project:

showcasing the best examples of Commonwealth industrial, studio and jewelery design, including circular solutions;

networking and expert exchange between design communities;

international promotion and support of the creative potential of countries.

With the support of the association “Business Center for Economic Development of the CIS”, the Museum will organize a discussion platform within the framework of the Eurasian Light Industry Summit (March 21 – 24, 2024), where it will present a special project “Commonwealth Design” and discuss with experts the possibilities of cooperation between countries in the field of design and fashion.
