Computex 2025: Acer Gadget demonstrates innovations ranging from sleep technology to electric bikes

At the international Computex 2025 exhibition, Acer Gadget, a division of Acer, presented a diverse array of novel products integrating technologies aimed at enhancing health, communication, and mobility. Key announcements included the Acer FreeSense Ring smart ring, the Acer AI TransBuds wireless earbuds, and a line of electric transportation.

The FreeSense Ring smart ring distinguishes itself through its lightweight titanium alloy construction and a comprehensive suite of biometric sensors that monitor heart rate, HRV (heart rate variability), blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality. Data analysis is performed within a proprietary application, providing personalized recommendations without the need for a subscription. The AI TransBuds headphones offer an innovative real-time two-way speech translation feature across 15 languages, requiring only one earbud per pair of interlocutors for operation. Additional features include subtitle generation and transcription.

In the realm of electric transportation, Acer Gadget introduced four electric scooter models (Series 4/5 Select, Predator ES Storm/Thunder) equipped with 400-500W motors, adaptive braking systems, and control via the eMobility App. The Predator eRanger electric bicycle, featuring wide tires and previously announced at a cycling exhibition, was also demonstrated.
