Oriented on making people closer

Dashoguz is implementing large-scale initiatives to improve the urban environment, with particular attention being paid to landscape design and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of public spaces.

On the city’s main streets, medians and fountains have been renovated and adorned with ceramic architectural elements—large and small jugs, bowls, and other decorative sculptures. These new additions blend harmoniously into the urban landscape and aim to enhance the visual perception of the streets.

In recent years, several streets have been equipped with medians and side bays designed to improve road safety and separate traffic flows. Alongside these measures, active greening efforts are underway: trees, shrubs, lawns, and flowers are being planted, serving as natural barriers against dust, noise, and air pollution.

The modern appearance of the city is accentuated by digital advertising displays, banners, improved street lighting, and the façades of new buildings. Courtyards now feature recreational zones with playgrounds, benches, and paved walkways.

Private establishments—such as cafés and restaurants with summer verandas and terraces—also contribute to the city’s appearance, becoming popular leisure spots.

Beautification efforts, sanitation improvements, and the use of small architectural forms aim to create a comfortable, functional, and visually attractive urban environment. These measures also promote the development of urban leisure culture and everyday living standards among residents.
